A computer sees any text as zeros and ones. Type your name and see how a machine sees it.

We’re developers — we couldn’t resist
- Every bit here is alive. Click any 0 or 1 and watch what your name turns into.
- Cyrillic is “heavier” than Latin: a Ukrainian letter takes two bytes in UTF-8, a Latin one takes one. Compare «Оля» and «Olya».
- Open your browser console (F12). We left something there.
* Not an entirely serious page. The bytes are real, though.
