Sass is a layer on top of CSS that adds variables, nesting, functions and modules, so the styling of a large store stops being chaos and becomes an organised system. Brand colours, spacing and sizes are defined once and reused everywhere — refreshing the identity or launching a dark theme means changing a few lines, not hundreds. That saves real hours in maintenance and keeps the design consistent as the site grows.
